COUNSELLING SUPERVISION

Supervision is essential to ensure high standards of professional practice. Ongoing supervision helps counsellors to monitor and review the quality of their work as well as their client’s progress.
My approach is person centred; I see the supervisory relationship as an equal relationship and essential to maintaining good practice.

Counselling supervision can help counsellors / student counsellors:

• Adhere to an ethical and practical framework
• Explore professional and ethical issues
• Explore boundaries and limitations
• Gain an opportunity to offload

I am a BACP  registered/ accredited counsellor and qualified as a person centred supervisor in 2001.I have provided both individual and group supervision to a variety of supervisees over the last couple of decades.
I am committed to continuing professional development and have had ongoing regular supervision my self for over twenty six years.

Clinical  supervision
I worked as a group supervisor with Hackney Victim Support for many years. I currently provide individual clinical / external supervision to staff working in social care, voluntary sector and (VAWG) violence against women and girls sector. I have provided clinical supervision for: Women's Trust, Advance, London Black Women's Project, West Hampstead's Women's Centre and Camden Council. 

I also provide supervision for people who facilitate creative writing or therapeutic writing groups. 

FEES: 

Individuals £75.00 per hour.   

Organisations (Ind) £100.00 - £125.00 per hour. 

Organisations (group) £135.00 - £150.00 per hour.
