The type of personal information I collect

I currently collect and process the following information:

Contact form details – When you submit information to me via a contact form on my website, I collect your name and contact details (email address and/or telephone number if you provide it). Plus any additional personal information that you choose to share.


How I get the personal information and why I have it

The personal information I process is provided to me directly by you for the following reasons:

· To allow you to make contact with me via a contact form on my website.

I use the information that you have given me in order to: 

· Contact you regarding a message you have sent me via a contact form on my website.

· Add you to my electronic mailing list, if requested by you.

I will not share your information with any third parties for the purposes of direct marketing.

I use third parties who provide elements of services for me. You can find out about their privacy policies below.

How I store your personal information 

Contact form information

Your information is securely stored with GoDaddy. You can find out about their privacy policy here: https://uk.godaddy.com/legal/agreements/privacy-policy

If you are considering whether to work with me. I keep the personal details I receive from you via a contact form, in paper form in a locked cabinet for fourteen days. I am the only key holder. I will then dispose of your information by destroying it safely and confidentially via a cross-cut shredder.  

I do not save any personal information on my computer. It is a private computer and password protected. 


Email list registration

Your information is securely stored with Mailchimp. You can find out about their privacy policy here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/ 

I keep the personal details I receive from you via email until you decide you wish to unsubscribe from receiving emails. Your information is then deleted from the email list. 

  

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask me for copies of your personal information. 

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask me to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask me to complete information you think is incomplete. 

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask me to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask me to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that I transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, I have one month to respond to you.

Cookie: Pop up dismissed (e.g. wam_widgets_popup_closed).

Purpose: This cookie is used to remember whether a user has viewed a pop up on charmainepollardcounselling.co.uk over the previous 24 hours. Where users have previously viewed a pop up, that action will be stored in this cookie for one day.

Cookie: Website optimisation (e.g. dps_site_id).

Purpose: My website uses a temporary or session-related cookie for optimising the speed and performance of the website.
